Shakira wins Free Your Mind Award at EMAs

In recognition of her continuing dedication to improve access to education for all children around the world, Shakira was named as the 2010 Free Your Mind recipient at last night's EMA Awards in Madrid, Spain (she also opened the show, with an amazing performance of Loca and Waka Waka).

Hy Shaki, first of all congratulations to the winning of the mind awards. You do so much for the education of young people. You've already made so many people happy, including me when you meet me in Las Vegas have given a kiss on the cheek. And when you talked to me, a dream came true for me. You have such a demented character and the most beautiful eyes of the world. You are my whole life. I'm so glad you watch live again next Friday in Madrid. You are this week, 50km away from my hometown and I can not be there (terrible). But the study is going on unfortunately, but directly behind it come thou I hope you have a lot of joy here in Germany. I hope I can meet you in Germany again, I'm going to wait for hours at the airport anyway. Open up anyway so on. You are doing the world so well. You are in all respects the best. I love you so much. Great... Again a video you can't see in Germany, as many other videos... Thank you YouTube alias Google... And thank you GEMA (the German music collecting society [I don't know if 'collecting society' is the correct translation for the German word 'Verwertungsgesellschaft' ; but I think so]). Monopoly versus monopoly. Thats great... Especially for music artists it's unpossible to reach anyone in Germany with there songs. There is no more PR in Germany of any artist. It's depressing. Well... On TV there is some kind of PR. But mostly this PR is on TV programs that just try to earn money with it. And thats the way the commercials look like... Brummagem... Nearly two years we are in this sorry plight now. I really hope that something will happen to this. Maybe someone of YouTube or Google will read this, cause if you write something to them you don't get an answer. And writing something like this to an account of VEVO is unpossible, cause those comments are deleted. Or maybe someone of the GEMA will read this. But I fear that they don't even know how to use the internet or what it's about. This company is that antiquated. Sorry that this isn't a comment to the video, but it isn't possible to see it in Germany (without some tricks). Okay... I had to say that... Change of subject... La recompensa despues de un trabajo bien echo llega con un premio.En su momento recuerdo q me manifeste por las criticas sobre el single "Loca", estaba recien salido y arreciaban por todos lados comentarios y la mayoria de ellos siempre desde el bando femenino; la envidia seria.Hoy desde mi habitación oigo como son ellas las que cantan al ritmo de Shakira, cuando los locales de abajo repiten y hasta tres veces en una noche la cancion de Loca.
