Single and album announcement!

We're very pleased to report that Shakira will release her brand new album, Sale el Sol/The Sun Comes Out, on October 19th.

The album will feature Shakira's record-breaking global hit "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)", as well as a new single "Loca". Recorded in the Dominican Republic, “Loca” is Shakira’s interpretation of Dominican artist El Cata’s song “Loca Con Su Tiguere". You can hear the Spanish version of the track, above. There will also be an English version, featuring a guest appearance from Dizzee Rascal, the UK's number one rapper.

Sale el sol

Wow since I heard Sale el sol and loca my life has turned out o go crazy in a good way and the sun has come out; I'm super happy; these songs/album conveys so many feelings and emotions that makes even the most miserable feel happy..I cant wait for the album to come out and the concert which here in Sacramento happens to be on the same day...

Hola Shaki!!!!!!!!!! La verdad es que la canción "Loca" no me llega a gustar demasiado, la veo demasiado latina (tipo raggaeton), pero "Sale el sol" me ha llegado al alma :) Es una canción preciosaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

He de decir que la canción "Sale el Sol" es preciosa y me llega realmente al corazón. De hecho me gusta mucho más que "Loca", que tiene un estilo muy latino, para mí demasiado... Pero aún así, tengo unas ganas inmensas de ir a tu concierto, Shaki!!!!!!!!!! Me encantas!!!!!!!!
