After this amazing month of world cup glory I just wanted to send a special thank you to the group Zangalewa for contributing the anthemic chorus from their hit song, Zangalewa, which inspired Waka Waka and symbolizes the true spirit of the World Cup — bringing together cultures and influences from all over the world. Zangalewa

Really nice to know that due recognition is given to the original rendition of Zangalewa. Shakira has not reinvented the chorus, but fined tuned it to blend with the main score, and producing a legendary hit. An inspiration can come from within or from out there, but most importantly once must not be ashamed to recognize that inspiration.It is these qualities that make Shakira stand out against the rest, as one is looking at the best.

The greatness of a person lies in the quality and the way he admits and tell others the reality. Shakira, you have done a great job by creating WAKA WAKA. through this song millions are inspired.
